He thinks he is just dreaming but it is true: Bobby Phillips is invisible. He doesn’t understand why it happened that day because he woke up as normal as ever. He goes downstairs and tries to tell his parents what is going on, but they think he is just pulling a trick on them. Bobby shows them he is not joking. Then other people start asking where Bobby is because he hadn’t been going to school and they all think that is very suspicious even though it is not any of their business. Bobby’s mom lies to them and tells them that he went to visit his Aunt Ethel.  Bobby ends up going on a walk to the library and bumps into a blind girl named Elisha and they become great friends. The police finally got into the situation and went to Bobby’s house. Again, his mom lied and they left to go ask Aunt Ethel some questions. Here Is My I Dare You
This is the one where you have to write about a person who gets a box

One Friday after school, Lynetta took a walk in Rome-Around Park. Suddenly, a man stepped out behind a tree with a sealed box in his hands. His frizzy hair bounced as he speed-walked over to Lynetta before she turned to go back home. Instantly, Lynetta began to jog when she saw the crazy man, but he caught up with her and gently set the box in her hands.
“Don’t let anything happen to this! Come back tomorrow at this exact time and place!” he said, and scurried off.
Lynetta stared at the Styrofoam box with tape sealed around its openings. She noticed a small crack with weak tape and thought, if I took off that tape, I could peek and see what’s inside of there!
She slowly peeled off the tape, and inside she saw twin pearls white as snow. She took them out carefully and had an idea.
The next day, Lynetta hid the pearls in her drawer and replaced them in the box with her mom’s fake pearl earrings. She taped the box back up and rode her bike to the park. The man stood there with his arms folded.
“Here they are! I guarded them with my life,” she said.
The man smiled, took the box, and ran off. Lynetta just grinned.

Hunger Games Character Review

The character I chose for this review, is Rue. Rue has a kind, youthful heart.  She may have hidden, but at least she didn’t kill. I was very sad when she died, because she was so young and deserved to live longer.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

The amazing Hunger Games all started by District 13 trying to over run the capitol but they had too much power so they wiped out district 13 by bombing them. Later they started showing everyone how much power they have by showing people were going to put your children in a game and make them kill each other, and they show them were to powerful. So katniss’s
Sister primrose gets picked when she’s only twelve so katniss wants her sister to stay alive so she volunteers and the other tribute is Peeta Mellark and they both are the tributes from district 12.There are 12 districts and a boy and a girl get picked and they train for a whole week at the capitol so they can fight well in the games and so they can at least have a chance to win.  So they go to interviews and then they launch up the tube and the mentors and stylists will never see them again. And at that the Hunger Games start. If you want to know more you have to read the book!

Dork Diaries by Rachel Renee Russell

Heres a review on a book I read called Dork Diaries. The story would mostly take place in a school called Westchester Country Day Middle school. A girl named Nikki Maxwell which is the new girl at the school is always getting bullied by popular and sassy girl, Mackenzie Hollister. When Nikki moved in the school she was apparently stuck by the locker to Mackenzie Hollister’s. Nikki would always be gossiped by people because she has different styles that people think is ugly and weird.  People would always also laugh at things that Nikki do like when she trips and objects tumble every where. Nikki thinks she would never survive a year at her new school that she really doesn’t like. If you read this book I hope you enjoy it!

The Hunger Games Character Review

I would like to review the main character of The Hunger Games. The main character would be Katniss Everdeen. I describe her as a Internal Character because she always thinks inside her head and has thoughts about events happening. She is also a brave character because she would help Peeta her fellow tribute, save his life in the games.

Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix

Among The Hidden is a book including many mysteries. The people at that time could only have two children because of the population problem. Luke, a shadow child had to hide from the Population Police or else he have to die. One day, Luke tried to look out his bedroom window, in other words the attic, and thought that he saw a face in his neighbor’s home. One day, Luke went to Jen’s house and she told him about a rally that she was going to attend. Luke kept trying to stop Jen from going because he knew that she would get killed. Of course Jen, being Jen went to the rally and got killed by the Population Police.
Luke went to her house the next day, thinking that nobody would be home, and got caught by Jen's father. He tried to hide because her father happened to be part of the Population Police. Thankfully, he did not kill him because Luke was Jen's friend. You will have to read the book Among the Hidden to find out more!

The Unwanteds by Lisa McMann

The Unwanteds is a risky book. The characters are fun and some are spunky. Each kid has their own talent. Lani is good at art and loves magic battle learning new spells. Alex loves art and wants to start in magical warrior training right away, but he doesn’t expect this he’s the last of his group to get in. Meaghan is amazing at music and was the first to start magical warrior training just like her brother when he got picked as an unwanted 5 years ago.
Unwanteds get picked at a ceremony in Quill, they pick the Wanteds, necessaries , and an Unwanteds  and they pick each one every year and if you're an Unwanted you get to go to Artime where you master skills and learn things that Quill wouldn't let you do like draw or play music. Alex was trying to get his brother to come to Artime so he could live a better life and he tried to convince him that Will Blair was going to go to his dorm and try to kill his brother but it didn't work and he didn't go with Alex so the next day Will went to his cabin and Will tried to kill him but he failed when, the next day the guards came to say thank you because Alex's brother would of been dead and Will lay there almost lifeless.
I would recommend this book to everyone. Hope you enjoyed! And don't forget to read The Unwanteds by Lisa McMann; you’ll have to read the book to find out more!

Favorite reading quote:
“The connection between reading speed and comprehension; a film is made up of still images flashed in rapid succession to simulate movement. Slow down the film, and the movement and meaning slows and the film's impact is diminished. Viewers won't learn as much about the film as if it were shown at normal speed. With reading the same thing can happen. When a person reads word by word, like frame by frame, they are not reading on the level of ideas. You need to read on some level that's more conversational and allows things to coalesce into ideas themselves.”
